Twitter and Facebook

Same late-night musings about Twitter and Facebook drew a flurry of responses from my Twitter crew. Answers are in reverse chronological order.

Question:

Bryan Person Bryper  Facebook has lost its sizzle with me, but Twitter remains as shiny a tool as ever. What about for you?

Answers:

Jennifer Leggiomediaphyter

@Bryper I was thinking that earlier. I barely go on FB anymore now that I use Twitter so much.

Susan Reynolds susanreynolds @Bryper I live twitters simplicity - we use it as suits us, Works sooo well for my need

Bryan Person Bryper I wonder if Twitter’s *lack* of features is what makes it more appealing to me than Facebook.

Dave Barger lalunablanca @bryper @AlbertMaruggi: I still enjoy FaceBook and am looking to find even more utility in it. Some settling needs to occur w/ apps. agreed

Catherine Juon cjuon @Bryper - Agreed. I personally like Twitter more than Facebook, though they both have their niche. Throwing stuff is fun for only so long…

Kevin Dugan prblog @Bryper - socnets as a whole, still feel like they’re simmering for me. not fully cooked yet but with great ingredients. twitter? whee!

Barbara K. Baker BarbaraKB @bryper Use ‘em both. Neither shiny, though. Useful.

Bryan Person Bryper Doesn’t mean I don’t use it all, though. Good place to connect with old classmates and exchange messages with @JeffPulver.

Bryan Person Bryper Annoying application requests, weird usability issues, privacy concerns, mainly.

Albert Maruggi AlbertMaruggi @Bryper - why the lost luster on FB?
